Nova's Ark is an amalgamation of several SC maps databases and an eclectic collection derived from many StarCraft fansites. Despite the quantity of maps available, quality is an equally concerned factor. You can help improve the quality of the archive by reporting bad maps with these following traits: ▪ Maps that no one can join in battle.net (mostly because of overlapping map titles); these maps can be fixed ▪ Maps whose sole purpose is to crash players ▪ Obviously incomplete maps such as those with unfinished terrain ▪ Melee maps with uneven mineral distribution ▪ Rigged maps which a player (usually the host) is given excessive minerals or buffed units that was not intended in the original version ▪ Maps that are extremely boring or unfair ▪ Buggy and unplayable maps To report a bad map, simply write its name in this thread and I will check and remove it from the archive. Your help will benefit future fellow downloaders and I will greatly appreciate it. |

Uhh.. I'm having trouble unzipping the FA - RPG.zip file. When I try to unzip it, (Using WinRAR) I get an error message saying; "The archive is either in unknown format or damaged." So, help would be appreciated. Thanks. |

I downloaded it and unzipped with WinRAR and got the error
However, everything else unzipped correctly. Have you tried deleting the corrupted zip and redownloading it? |

Yes, I've redownloaded it a couple of times. And nothing at all will unzip. |

I reuploaded it, see if it works now. By the way, did you download all the other map packs, too? Are they all fine? |

No problem. If you hadn't told me, hundreds other people would've downloaded a corrupted file and wouldn't even tell me!

Hey, the map The Path of a Jedi 5.0 and the other one didn't work, I downloaded it successfully but then when I tried to play the map, it said the map was corrupted and such. If you could re-upload this map then I'd be alot happier. Thanks alot! |

Are you referring to one in FA: RPG\Star Wars on box.net? I just downloaded the 5.0 and v.W and they work fine. Try redownloading them. If it happens again, recite me the exact error message and what gave it. |

Which map, and what is the exact error message you read? Be specific with your question or I cannot help you. |

If you were using the box.net flash widget, the download might have not fully finished. Use the HTML version at http://box.net/starcraft Alternately you could download the map packs; all of the zipped maps should be intact if you downloaded correctly. If this still persists maybe your StarCraft or computer/connection is at fault and I suggest you reinstall SC or try playing from another computer. |

whack a mole causes crashing |

"Whack a Mole" was meant for an older patch which allowed map makers to increase the game speed with a glitched unit. I removed this unit and it was playable, but the speed was essential to game so I removed the map altogether from the archive. Thanks for reporting. |
